Ever opened a contact and found almost nothing useful? Enrichment fills those gaps with profile, role, location, experience, and company data. Email and phone finding are separate actions for people when that data is available. TalkToHumans automatically enriches new contact profiles by default. During the trial, background auto-enrichment pauses after using half of your 100 trial credits, so you still have credits left for actions you choose yourself.

Enrich a person or company

Open a contact in a conversation or contact view. If profile data is missing or stale, TalkToHumans can enrich it when your plan, credit balance, and safety state allow. The enrichment system checks three places in order: β†’ Data already in your workspace.
β†’ A shared server cache.
β†’ The LinkedIn enrichment provider when fresher data is needed.
Profiles and companies use a 30-day freshness window. Reopening the same person during that window reuses current data instead of starting the same job again.

What enrichment can add

For people, enrichment can add profile basics, headline, about text, follower and connection counts, roles, companies, experience, education, languages, and locations. For companies, it can add the company profile, website, founding date, follower count, headcount, employee count, industries, locations, and related contacts. New data merges into the existing record. A partial refresh should improve a profile without wiping richer information already stored.

Find an email or phone number

Open the person in the sidebar and choose Find email or Find phone. TalkToHumans runs the lookup and saves an available result to the contact. These are explicit, credit-based actions. You decide when a person is worth the lookup.

When credits are used

The app shows your balance under Settings β†’ Usage & plans. Credit cost cues appear around paid actions so you can see the tradeoff before using them.
Enrichment availability varies by person, company, region, and provider. Profile enrichment may not return every possible field. Email and phone lookups do not charge credits when they return no result.

Control unnecessary spend

Enrich the contacts you intend to work, then filter on the new data. Avoid enriching an entire old network when only a small segment matters. A useful pattern:
1

Start with a narrow contact view

Filter by an existing signal such as tag, relationship state, or known company.
2

Enrich the relevant people

Add the profile and company details needed for the next decision.
3

Refine the view

Filter or sort on role, company, industry, follower count, or location after the data is present.
